"I Don't Need a Website"
Thanks for your interest.  Here are some other low-cost marketing resources.

  • ColorforRealEstate.com  This site is interesting for anyone who has ever bought or sold domestic real estate, not just for Realtors
  • Avery Sign Kits  Even non-profits can afford to have custom-made signs (you do need a color printer).  Note that Avery offers design templates and clip art as well.
  • Churchad.com Advertising professionals turn their talents to evangelism.  Note that if you order the book Advertising the Local Church the Church Ad Project will throw in a free ad license for a year.
  • Wetpaint.com Given internet access and enough time, anybody can have their own website.  In the interest of full disclosure, I must mention that I won an iPod on their initial web design contest.
  • Officelive.com  Create your own website using free design software, and then host it for free at OfficeLive.com.  (That's how this website came to be.)
  • PendaflexlearningCenter.com Provides free online classes, not only about marketing, but also about project management and other useful office skills.
  • Whitepages.com.  Check to be sure that the online information about your non-profit is current.  If you have a website, include it in your whitepages.com listing.  To update your listing, search for the organization name.  If it is not correct, click on "report incorrect listing."  Whitepages.com is affiliated with Superpages.com, which offers suggestions for internet marketing.
  • coming soon: The Craigslist Foundation's site for non-profit organizations.
